The spider hole
Charcoal
52 x 40 OD framed
2012

This work was initiated when I was working as a tool salesman and living in a small, dank basement apartment. A good friend dubbed this place the spider hole, after the actual hobo spider infestation and the capture of Saddam Hussain. I started the work in 2005, suspended work and picked it back up in 2012. The mouth of hell imagery is on my mind quite a bit. Much like addiction.
