Sunday Morning Funnies
This series began after I moved from teaching art in the small town of Shepherd Montana, back to Missoula MT, and the MCPS school district. I was struggling with imagery; I could sense an aesthetic theme but the way eluded me, until I married vellum and cotton rage paper, including hand sewn thread. This marriage effectively provided an anchored border and a sense of personal, and domestic industry. The resulting amalgamation is as you see it. The technical context of this series has found its way into other more recent work as well. All work that is listed for sale is framed.
