This piece represents a continuation of the Fatherhood series merging symbolic figurative components and mixed media. The juxtaposition of filagree in boarders and representational still-life imagery in the center seeks to reference wistful reflection. Innocent ideology competes with a macro still-life, all while celebrating the iconography of materialism, imagination and the desires of youthful impermanence.
